About
Pocket Playbook started as a shared notes file between three friends who kept texting each other stuck screenshots. At some point we figured other players were hitting the same walls, so we turned the mess into a proper site with structured guides.
Everything here comes from hands-on play. Nobody on the team writes about a game they haven't finished or at least sunk a serious number of hours into. When a guide says a boss is easier if you dodge left, it's because someone died to it enough times to be sure.
We pick games across genres on purpose. Puzzles, racers, RPGs, city builders — if it runs on a phone and people are searching for help, we're interested. Popularity matters, but so does whether a game is actually fun to dig into.
There's no publisher paying us to say nice things. Ratings are our own, and if a game gets tedious in the second half, we'll tell you.
